Beacon Bar— mad scientist theme. Bar staff are handling decorations. We might be getting UV strips if Blacklight replies. Mostly not Ents.
Sandy’s Bar— inferno theme. Red and orange lights. Use the beambars that are already in there.
Main Bar— spiders lair. Not too tech heavy, as our stuff could get damaged. Web from last year is in the cupboards in StAge
Piazza— death theme? Bodies (not real ones), hanging from the truss-ing. These will be made from inflatable dolls wrapped in black plastic. Depending on wind, we will have the low fog machine outside. The S4s are not waterproof, so they need wrapping to protect from light rain. If the weather is bad, we cannot use them. They’ll be rigged on the trussing and come with breakup gobos. MMX spot is going outside in waterproof casing with our custom gobo.
StAge— spooooky theme. Hanging canvases to project ‘picture frames’ onto (videos of Mermaids actors doing creepy stuff). These are to be rigged towards the back of the stage. Four additional strobes and spikies. General vibe will be a spooky house. If we do not have enough props, we will use the backdrop from last time.
If Blacklight reply, they will be delivering hires on Friday or Saturday.
Mermaids video happening on Friday afternoon in StAge. We can use our own video equipment.

Sam taught people how to use the hire kit — they have soon after forgotten how to use the hire kit. There are concerns that training groups who do not use it frequently is pointless, as they forget without practise.
Social event: Sunday 7th November (tentatively) — screening of The Play That Goes Wrong — StAge.
DJ and Acts coordinator — still struggling to find one. May have incentives, such as a guaranteed slot on a club night — to be discussed further.
Committee photo is next week— remember your Ents tshirt or jacket.
Alan needs to find out what is happening with Jackets (ask Jillian).
Tonight is some generic training — preparing the venue for Rocky Horror.
