• Introductions with new DoES (Bella).•The state of the venue is ok. There are some broken things e.g. various broken fixtures. Problems with the sound system need investigating —this will probably be done on the weekend.
• Ask Phil about access to the workshop.
• Phil wants an idea of what is to be done during training, particularly if anything dangerous might be happening.
• Various cables and adapters need purchasing.
• Consult Phil about hooking up the entire venue to a single sound source.
• Still looking for a DJ and Acts Coordinator.
• Sam and Andrew have taken over the training role (jointly).
• Over summer the hire gear has been used in the main bar, so its location is often unknown. So we are not always sure what is available. This might make training external groups to use it pointless, seeing as an Ent would be required to check everything needed was present anyway. If permanente quipment is purchased for the main bar, such that the hire gear is never missing, training for external groups may make more sense.
• We are looking into getting another mixer. A baby X32 would be prefer-able, as it can be used in StAge in the unfortunate event that the main X32 breaks. If the main X32 breaks at the moment, no events requiring sound can go ahead in StAge/601. Sam and Andrew are to pitch this to Union staff.
• Check to see if there is enough money to buy a permanent mixer for the bar.
• Union needs informing that Nikita is not getting a jacket, so this can be taken off the total. Alan is to chase Will so that we can place the order.
• Ents Crew training is on Saturday
