Beatons was one of the names for the Cafeteria whose servery was where the optic gantry to rear of Sandys Bar now is  also irreverently known as the “Paste Palace“ because of the less than haute cuisine .

However it did serve critical Ents Badger scran: Mac n Cheese, Chips n Gravy, Chips, and Pints of Tea!

Prior to this there was the “ Coffee Bar“, where the Main Bar side doors open out onto Piazza 
This was the source of the famous Bakon Roll, plates of which were essential post hangover / pre load in fuel for Ents.
